Bibeksheel Sajha Party Subuna Basnet in her recent interview has spoken about her candidacy for upcoming election of Mansir.
In interview Subuna has highlighted that not for any particular person but her candidacy is against current political chaos. “Clean politics and development is my agenda,” Subuna said.
Subuna,26, originally belongs to Illam district of eastern Nepal and has been affiliated with Bibeksheel Sajha Party since four years. An MBA graduate from Kings College, at present she is in the capacity of central committee member of the party. She is also leading the enterprises and development sector of her party.

As party has declared her candidacy from Kathmandu constituencies number -4, Subuna is all set to lock horns with Gagan Thapa, a powerful and popular youth leader of Nepali congress. And, another scholar youth leader of CPN-UML Dr. Rajan Bhattarai.
Saying that she doesn’t believe in any particular political ideology as there are ample examples in the world where countries have developed following various political discourses, Subuna sees herself as better candidate than Gagan. “Gagan has already got many opportunities and he has done a lot but I think there is a lot more to do and I can do better than him,” Subuna says confidently.
Although Subuna is fresh face in Nepali politics and is not so experienced but when it comes to agenda, vision and energy level, Subuna stands strong.
