Known for making inspirational movies on based on true life, this time director Milan Chams has tried somthing. In his upcoming movie ‘Bobby’, based on true love story of Umesh Thapa and Kabita Gurung, he has featured these two real life characters in reel too. “I cannot say about another place but in Nepal probably this is the first time that real life characters have played in their part of roles in screen,’ Chams said.
Umesh and Kabita, the other two present in the interview besides Chams, have shared their shooting experience and story plot of movie comparing with their real life happenings.

The film ‘Bobby’ is all about the struggle that Umesh and Kabita have gone to get their love, tragedy and take life to the level of millionaire from practically nothing. “Umesh family was so poor that I even didn’t use to have money to take ride of public vehicle from Lugu to Kathmandu,’ Kabita recalls. She also says that she doen’t regret for marrying a boy from poor family where she had take care of all the domestic chores that typically a village women has to do.
Kabita belongs to rich elite family while Umesh is from poor family. As both caste and class singnificantly differs and they saw no positive sign from family, the duo some one-and-half decade had married by eloping.
‘I eloped with Umesh to live together with him. But I was unlucky as just after few months of marrigae, Umesh went to Norway for study,” Kabita recalls.
During interview from time to time Umesh and Kabita have become emotional recalling their hard days.
‘Not for money but for inspiration we have made this money,’ Chams said.
